A teen challenge is never presented as a rule or a lesson: it is a challenge the teen can accept, change or decline. It gives teenagers a chance to practise adult conversation skills — disagreeing calmly, negotiating, telling a good story — with the people who know them best.
Kalmdix announces the challenge lightly, never as a rule or a lesson, and the teen may decline or change it. It runs over five meals; the results are shown after the meal.
